Centrum stavebního inženýrství, a.s. (Centre of Building Construction, Engineering, Joint Stock Company) (CSI) is a company with more than fifty years' tradition in the field of research, development, testing and evaluation of building materials, structures and buildings in the Czech Republic. It acts in the following capacities: Notified body 1390 with authority within the framework of the EU to carry out assessment of compliance of the building products acc. to Government Decree No. 190/2002 (defining of technical requirements for building products identified with CE compliance sign) and to carry out the European Technical Approvals for non-standard products acc. to Section 4 of the Government Decree 190/2002. Authorized person 212 at assessment of compliance of the products defined acc. to Act No. 22/1997, No. 163/2002, Government Decree of March 6, 2002. Accredited certification body 3048 carries out evaluation and certification of products for projects in the so called non-regulated field (products not included in the Government Decree No. 163/2002). The company has 7 accredited laboratories in Prague and Zlín, acting in the following fields: building thermal technology building acoustics fire safety technological instalations of buildings doors and windows building chemistry and radio-chemistry finishing works Accreditation acc. to ČSN EN 17 025 is a requisite for application in the system of assessment of compliance acc. to Act on technological requirements for products and CPD Guideline (EU) on building products.
